// Each step shall be a thought.

To all Peaceworkers,

the Grace Pilgrimage 2009 has started.

We spent three days with a group nearby the oldest olive tree of this region (at least 1000 years old), and then we started to move as pilgrims in the direction of Évora.

These preparation days helped us to deeply dive into the perception of creation.

We felt like a prehistoric tribe.

We researched the connection of perception and creativity, using painting as a method and the olive tree as inspiration.

We discovered again that the world is not what we think it is.

Beyond all definitions we discover the miracle of reality.

Peace work also means to see our own habits, how we act and how we self pity, and to leave this behind.

The first warm rain gave us its blessing. The whole landscape was longing for this late Summer greeting.

It was our first little adventure: to greet the rain with a full heart, and at the same time to find the protection which we wished to have for the night.

Today, Monday morning, we celebrate a ritual in the stone circle of Almendres, near Évora.

We connect spiritually with all peace workers worldwide.

We are pilgrims towards the sunrise of a new culture.

Text of Empowerment: GRACE -- a text of meditation for the pilgrimage through Portugal

by Sabine Lichtenfels

Part 1

We are traveling through Portugal in the first week of pilgrimage in connection with the prehistoric utopia, in touch with the sacred source of Europe. We are on an exodus in a new way. (Walkout from slavery) If it comes to disempower an occupier, he sits in our own inner being.

Within ourselves the little tyrant is located the one who wanted to rule us, who wanted to produce ever-new wars: wars over countries, wars over religion and belief, wars for women, about power, for recognition. From this carousel of egomaniac structures there is no escape, neither in the small, nor at large. Behind them we suspect a great new freedom, the Holy Land. We seek and celebrate consciously the arrival of divine love in ourselves and in the world. Who in himself makes the switch, could help to manifest heaven on earth. Each step we do shall be a thought.

We are looking for the vision of the Holy Land within ourselves. We assume that we can know and recognize truth when we allow our consciousness to perceive it.

While we are travelling from the stone circle through Grandola to Tamera, we remember the dream that creation put like a seed into us, the dream of paradise on earth. This is a global dream, he is not privat to any religion, any party or nation. The Holy Land has no limits except the inner walls and fences, which must be overcome.

Where we put our attention we cause the manifestations of our life. We go on a pilgrimage for the global vision of future woth living.

Ready to perform the change in our inner, we are ready for self-transformation. This is not a moral issue anymore, but an adventure of consciousness, a step of joy and strength.

We slow down our thinking, microscopically we investigate our own inner affairs, we perceive and know the details of war within ourselves and transform them. Having a vision of peace available within, seeing understanding and manifesting it: This is the adventure of this pilgrimage.

Do we know what we really want? Do we know the divine will within us? Do we know the point in us where it is decided whether there is war or peace?

Each step shall be a thought.

We go into conscious awareness.

We listen to the voice of the earth, we listen to the voice inside of us. God is within, in the simplicity of our steps, in the chirping of crickets, and in the light that touched the barren land as though the earth gently envelops the sky.

The Holy Land is created in proportion as we recognize the information of the divine within ourselves, and download it into the human reality.

The redemption of love arises in the union of universal and human world on earth. It results in creativity among us.

Learn to look closely, look closely for Europe, observe the crisis regions of this earth, observing our own lives. We put down our heads on barren ground, under bridges and in the tents of the poor, until people have learned again to build houses and cultures for the divine world. We enter into a joint adventure, we think, act, love and speak in a way that the birth of a great vision can emerge, the perception of peace research villages worldwide. We are constructing a vision for a global peace research village. A Global Grace Village. Afterwards we may know more about how we will achieve this vision. Invited to the pilgrimage are those who feel called to take on the responsibility for this planet.

Sentence of Empowerment: Each step shall be a thought.

With kind regards
