Sabine Lichtenfels - Spiritual Work

To all Peaceworkers,

The Vision Quest with almost one hundred people taking part, held at the heights of a hot portuguise summer, was an overwhelming experience. It is difficult to put into words the spiritual and mental dome of energy that emerges when 100 people sit, apart from one another alone in silence, to mutually claim their birthrights. Which is the place where God wants to have me? What is my purpose and task in life, here at this time on this planet? Such an experience leads to the uttermost depth of our existence which under normal conditions we only rarely experience. We encounter ourselves and creation without any mask, earnest and openhearted.

At Tamera we are still occupied with bringing in the harvest from the Summer University. We strengthen the planetary net of those people which are researching, working and living for peace, above all with those people who do this under the most stringent conditions. People in Colombia, Mexico, Israel/Palestine, the USA who are all engaged in looking at the issues of self-supporting peace communities..

The forthcoming GRACE-Pilgrimage will convey to the world this absolute will and commitment to new peaceful forms of existence. Persons from Sinai, from Israel and Palestine, from India and probably also from Colombia will walk with us. We warmly invite the participation of many committed spirits from Germany, Switzerland and Portugal and all of Europe. The pilgrimage will be a strong community experience for all of us.

I want to use this Ring of Power to send you a prayer written by Dieter Duhm during the time of the Vision Quest.

PRAYER AT THE THRESHOLD

High Spirit, we are standing together with all creatures of our planet at a turning point. There has been enough horror; now this pain no longer has to be. Guide me step by step and word by word into the picture of the coming resurrection and revelation; and, so that I can believe in it ever more firmly, please reveal it in myself, in my own body and my own new birth.

I ask you with all the power of self-interest which every living being needs, reveal the turning power of this worldwide transformation in our own lives. We all have lost the track, have gone through a horrible worldwide trauma on our karmic journey. We were tortured, damaged and hurt. We all have started to doubt and at some time revolted against Your message. Maybe we have even persecuted the ones who wanted to stay faithful to You.

We all reached a point which was so terrible that we only screamed for help; and slowly we have realized how we passed on the fears and suffering to others that we always wanted to protect ourselves from, especially through our attempts at protection. Only now we are starting to fully understand the vicious circle which the unspeakable pain of this Earth brought us in. We are starting to understand that it was we ourselves, we human beings, who created this collective pain; and we realize that it is we human beings who now have the task and the possibility to put an end to the pain.

In fact we have arrived at a threshold from which we can very certainly see another future - an Earth that is liberated from the nightmare of a multi-millennial global war. Here, oh Lord, overwhelmed by what my geistig eye has seen, I want to fall down on my knees. Here, an old ring comes to its end. We have survived. Now, we want to rise up anew, and in a new bond with You!

For a long time we have not understood You, and You have not revealed Yourself, at least not in a way we could understand. Now, we start to see You in a new way; and newly we speak the words of Jesus, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in heaven as it is on Earth,... for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, in eternity."
