Ring of Power 15th of March 2010

// Recognize that there are no more excuses.

To all Peaceworkers,

I wish to use this Ring of Power to welcome all those who are newly participating in the spiritual and political peace circle of the Ring of Power. On this Monday morning, before sunrise, we will light the peace fire for the first time since we are all united again in Tamera. We thank all those who have faithfully guarded the fire while we were away in order to connect in prayer and meditation with the global network of peace.

A new stone bearing the symbol of the Ring of Power was chiselled in Los Mulatos. Together with some other stones, this one creates the energetic connection into the planetary, spiritual and political net of peace forces. Friends from Mulatos, also indigenous people from the tribes of the Wuo Nam and the Wam Quam as well as many new friends from Latin America have agreed to regularly participate in the Ring of Power.

The Ring of Power reminds us of the elementary basis of life and love which is the same in all of us. It is the same sun which shines upon us. In all of us she create the same budding hunger for love, truth, justice and trust, if only we consciously connect with her life spending power. She radiates through us independently of the world views we hold and the cultures we come from. She reminds us of the clearness and connectedness with all of life. Daily she ignites the light of hope in us and the decision to engage ourselves for a planetary peace culture.

The text of empowerment we have chosen consists of excerpts from the diary I wrote in Mulatos and of a short excerpt from a speech held by Eduar Lanchero, a member of the council of the peace community. May these texts keep the memory of the joint experience we were allowed to make. May many people in the world take part in this creation of synergy between two different communities in a way that the global field of solidarity is strengthened and the global courage to completely get out of the systems of violence is to grow.

We greet you from afar and connect with the great vision of a powerful peace movement, a movement that is successful in linking us so that we are all capable to leave the global systems of violence behind by furthering the foundation and development of self-sustained communities worldwide.

May a large planetary family which lives, works and thinks for global peace come about!

Text of Empowerment: Creating a magnetic field of healing

Diary of Sabine Lichtenfels of March 6th 2010

In order to understand how deep the division is and to understand how simple the divine source of love and truth is, it's good for every peace-builder to visit such a crisis area one time. To learn what is happening in your own soul, if you meet people who are treated so cruelly. What happens in your own soul, if you begin to love them, and how the soul will be looking for deep answers.

What does it mean to create a magnetic field of healing in this context?

All of us, especially those who were here for the first time, had to go through the gate of doubt. All of us had to realize with shock, how protected we are in Europe, and recognize that there are no more excuses. Our world, the Western world, is partly responsible for what is happening here! Much more than many of us want to admit.

Excerpt of a speech by Eduar Lanchero

Many here in Los Mulatos ask: What is a Peace Village?

To create a peace village is a collective process. After all the pain and suffering, the resurrection comes when there is resistance. The community has been resurrected. Life must be developed jointly and collectively. That is what a peace village has as its base. The resistance is to build solidarity, collectivity and coherence.

We have learned from the people of Tamera, from their 30 years of resistance. They have built a political monastery. It serves to reflect the view of the world and the inner vision to respond to the issues such as free love, that they are working on.

We had six months of reflection: What is for us the center, which brings us collective solidarity and builds consistency? A political monastery was the answer, and the center will be in Los Mulatos, to make possible, what we sometimes no longer believe in. Because life must flourish. The course takes a step towards a new world.

Power Sentence: Recognize that there are no more excuses.

Venceremos!
