Grace Pilgrimage September 27 to October 15, 2009, from the Stone Circle of Almendres near Évora to the Stone Circle of Tamera Presentation of the SolarVillage Test Field 16.-18.10.2009, Tamera
The world is in great pain. The politics of globalization leads to the destruction of whole populations and cultures, and to the destruction of the larger regulatory circuits in nature. Thus the ruling systems destroy themselves. They no longer have a future outlook, and we are on the verge of a global catastrophe. What we urgently need are new planetary ways of living – new models for the cooperation of humans with nature, for the raising of children, for a trustful encounter of humans and animals, and most of all for the establishment of a loving and supportive contact between the genders. We also need new models of energy technology, water and nutrition. All these innovations have to be developed and tested in small models first before they can be expanded to a global level. Currently one of these models is evolving in Tamera, near Colos in southern Portugal.
We made our first pilgrimages from 2005 to 2008 through areas of crisis in Israel/Palestine and Colombia. The 2009 pilgrimage will take us through Portugal, a European country. For centuries Europe was the source of unspeakable violence. From here conquests were started, huge areas of natural forest were destroyed, and indigenous people worldwide were subjugated. Crusades, inquisition and fascism took place in Europe. But this is only one side of history. At one point Europe was also deeply connected to Mother Earth and her rules. Stone circles (for example, Almendres near Évora in Portugal) and other neolithic monuments remind us of a highly developed culture that was connected to a deep peace knowledge. Therefore the 2009 pilgrimage will go from the historical stone circle of Almendres to the newly-built stone circle of Tamera. If we connect to ancient peace knowledge on a new level, we will step into a new responsibility for a future without war. Europe's knowledge and technology have to connect to a new spirit of humaneness, and with a new love for the earth and all her creatures. A peace village instead of a tank!
With this pilgrimage we attest to our service to a world without fear and violence. We support the creation of worldwide peace projects and call for further support. Help with the conversion of money that will not be invested into further destruction but into the implementation of real peace models instead. We gratefully accept all offers of support.
Toward this goal we will hold a convention in Tamera at the end of the pilgrimage for all who are actively interested. From the 16th to the 18th of October, the first model of the planned Solar Village and other developments of our Peace Center will be presented on the premises.
In the name of a future without war.
In the name of all children.
In the name of love for all creatures.
