In 2007 Sabine Lichtenfels founded the "GRACE Foundation – for the humanization of money", together with Charly Rainer Ehrenpreis and Maria Osthoff. With this foundation she calls on people to invest their strength and money in the development of peace villages. "With the cost of one armored tank, the foundation stones could be laid for several peace villages".

It is about about entering into a new life on Earth and withdrawing from the madness of the present civilization. Grace Pilgrimages must not remain one time actions.
GRACE can be the beginning of a worldwide movement for peace. We can avert war if we act together, quickly and in a strategically intelligent way, no longer succumbing to the hypnosis of resignation, powerlessness and disappointment.
We are no longer part of those who believe that the world can be changed only through large mass movements, through revolting against the reigning class, however beautiful and vital a picture of a power for change this might seem. Vital, powerful and non-violent revolution in the streets may well be part of the strategy, but infinitely finer, subtler and more profound action is needed to facilitate the precise changes that are necessary to avoid long-term wars. The revolution in the outer world must be accompanied by a conscious revolution of the inner world of the human being: Without it, there will be no true victory.
Today many people know: the Earth can only be saved if humanity undergoes transformation and if humanity rises to a new level of intelligence and to a new readiness to stand for truth and solidarity. Something has to happen that reaches deeper and more comprehensively than all previous revolutions. A world revolution is in the air, a revolution that in its essence does not fight the existing system, but instead connects with the power of a higher order: the revolution of love – and the creation of living conditions under which the existence of love can continuously develop itself. Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.
Imagine that worldwide, a network of peace projects, future communities and healing biotopes develops, interconnected both mentally and spiritually. With joy, more and more, people accept responsibility for the joy of the Whole and are willing to joyfully do the necessary work. The money used for this is made available by affluent individuals and groups. For more and more people know and fulfil their true calling, professions and their tasks in this worldwide network of a powerful budding peace force. The worldwide peace movement has a set of guidelines which serve to orient the participants in their daily lives. All these guidelines originate from the deep understanding of GRACE. GRACE is independent from ideology, religions or party affiliations. GRACE serves life itself and its peaceful evolution. We encounter each other with respect, solidarity and support. In the name of GRACE, we refuse to be enemies with anyone. GRACE always searches for a non-violent solution.
The movement GRACE connects with the worldwide ideal of a Syndicate for Peace which ensures that first educational centres go up where the knowledge for the development of peace villages is taught and learned. These worldwide centres are available to the peace movement and serve as oases of power and of coordination.
GRACE strengthens the thought that we can be the change which we so deeply long for. The idea of a worldwide peace movement which is centered around the peace villages, must also be connected with industrial experts and experts in economy. These experts have for a long time recognized and supported the need for such a comprehensive change of thinking in this area. The peace movement will contribute to the development of a humane economy. With the money it costs to buy a single tank, we could muster the powerful start of the construction of the envisioned peace villages in the Middle East, in Colombia, in India and in Portugal. Our contribution and strength lies in the preparation, in laying the foundation, and in connecting with other technological, ecological and social pilot models which either already exist or are being developed by various groups all over the world.
We put our work in the service of the global peace force. We do this in the name of GRACE. We invite all concerned individuals to participate in this new global peace force and we invite them to help to open funds for the investment into the building of self-sustained peace models. All funds which are put at our disposal are invested in the projects named below. We will provide all interested parties and contributors with information about where incoming funds are invested. We ask everyone who is concerned for help and support. Please contact economic experts and especially financial experts who might be interested in these projects for the future.
