Thirty People can change the World

// First Analysis after the Pilgrimage

My pilgrimage was triggered by the question: What can we do to ward off the imminent war in the Iran? Is it within our power to undertake something effective against the globalisation of violence?

Now, after all that I have witnessed and experienced during these past months I believe more deeply than ever before: Yes, it is possible. 30 people can change the world. 30 people who are fully committed to renew their internal course can prevent wars. Certainly this cannot be achieved by turning against the existing situation. Neither can it be achieved by mere grass-root actions nor in a purely spiritual manner. A group of cooperating partners who are able to communicate in full trust have to combine political action, spiritual anchoring and insistent character work. With strict determination such a committed group has to see that social structures and living conditions are created which are able to uncover and terminate latent warlike processes amongst human. They have to recognize, that a life model in which interpersonal wars no longer exist, including the hidden ones, will have a changing effect on the whole. If this is done fully at few places on Earth and if this succeeds, it will have a changing and field-building effect for the whole world.

Human beings who have learnt to love and who are not afraid of the truth will no longer participate in any war. More than this, they will be able to demonstrate at any places on this Earth how one is able to live without war. This is my credo. It grows with each new experience. Yes, it is as simple as this and at the same time as profound as this.

But what does this mean to the Palestinian village of Anata, what does it mean to Ramallah, to Bethlehem, to all the places we visited? And these are only a few examples where people are subjugated to live under unworthy conditions. What does this mean with regard to overcoming the Wall? What does it mean to the interminable daily suffering all over the world and to which almost all of the people of well-to-do societies turn a blind eye?

Life in Anata carries on. The soldiers will come again. The young people who have experienced the marvel of peace power through our manner of appearance will after all turn back to throwing stones the next day. How could they have understood from only one short such appearance what the secret of peace power is?

The cause for war is to be found in the wrongly channelled longings and life energies of human beings. I repeat once again: Do we seriously believe that the many young soldiers who now stand ready for war would really obey orders if they had another perspective for the channelling of their power, their courage, their longing for adventure and community? It is the unquenched thirst for community, for love and religion which has pushed us into this collective insanity. We have to deal with the task of leaving this madness of our present civilisation behind us and entering on to a new form of life on Earth. A friend who was on the pilgrimage with us wrote to me in a letter: We cannot wait until love is freed!

No, surely we cannot wait. The world is in such a state of absolute emergency that waiting is definitely no answer. The present efforts to stop the wars by the new-age-movement, the alternative league and the spiritual and political forces are in no proportion to the internal and external emergency of all of humankind. It amounts to far too little.

My question is: Given that we recognize this context why do we still wait? Why do we still continue with our smaller or bigger conflicts, with our battles in love, with our smaller or bigger needs? Why do we not undertake everything possible in order to clean out the secret complicity in our own life and actualise the real possibilities of life and love which has been given to us by God? Why do we cling to the habits of the old world, cling to doubts, discussions, lovesickness and compensation? Why do we ignore what we have known all along? Why do we not accept our task?

On our pilgrimage we have experienced many short term marvels where on a deeper level we have recognised the so called enemies as friends. Such marvels must not be allowed to remain purely emotional. First of all we ourselves have to understand the human system of these marvels in order to make them last. Only when we have truly understood the laws which become effective in love can we intervene efficiently and solidly to bring about change.

Do we know the five basic rules of love?

Are we aware that the wars we lead in our partnerships are connected to the wars in the world? Are we ready to accept responsibility for this and are we therefore ready to leave the old net of undue ownership, blackmail and demand?

In the following I will quote five simple premises of free love for us to measure them up against our daily behaviour. If we adhere to these five guidelines, I am certain, a new matrix will manifest on Earth.

1. God is love and any kind of love has its anchor in God. Those who have learnt to love trust in the love of God.

2. Love begins with self-acceptance. Those who have learned to love themselves and to affirm themselves positively will not be able to use violence against anyone else. Only those who affirm themselves positively are able to love another human being. This simple rule is to be found in the Bible: Love your neighbour as you love yourself.

3. Love is free. You cannot bind any human being to yourself by means of possessing him or of exercising a right over him. You cannot force anyone to be responsible for the satisfaction of your wants and needs. Love and desire are gifts of life, no legal matter. When you begin to demand love and sex you can be sure you have left your track. Return to it as fast as possible.

4. You can only be faithful if you may love others too. Love knows neither fences nor jealous restrictions. Love knows compassion and the never ending interest in each other and in the world. True love will lead to faithfulness all on its own.

5. Your love will find duration to the extent of how you are ready to stand by the truth. All of our culture is a bulwark against the truth. Those who truly want to love have to be ready to remove the bulwark within themselves and to risk truth also with regard to small and hidden things.

In order to learn and understand all this we need new centres and communities where this knowledge is taught. An individual, studying to become a peace worker, has to undergo the following process: he has to recognise in himself how much his life has been a bulwark against the truth. He has to be ready to recognise and accept the truth. He has to be willing to break down the inner walls in order to experience compassion in himself for the first time in all its purity and without any disguise. To do this, most people have to visit an area of conflict at some point, witnessing the daily cruelties that are inflicted upon human beings, animals and the Earth in the name of globalisation all over the planet.

Then such a person has to profoundly comprehend the correlation between “outer crisis” and “inner crisis” and to understand it with regard to himself. This person must want to know the truth. When this is so, he or she can go out into the world to a place where the task at hand can be fulfilled the best way possible.

The pilgrimage GRACE must not remain a one-time action. GRACE could be the beginning of a worldwide movement for peace. We can prevent war! A peace movement can stop wars if it acts timely and in an intelligent, strategic, numerous and decisive manner. Let us no longer follow the hypnosis of resignation, helplessness and disappointment! We shall succeed, if only enough decided people will get together worldwide and be prepared to dedicate themselves for one year to do nothing else but to engage themselves unconditionally for peace. The revolution in the external sphere will have to be accompanied by a conscious revolution in the internal sphere otherwise a true victory cannot be achieved. Today many people know: the Earth can only be saved if human beings undergo a transformation and if they will adopt a new intelligence and a new willingness to practice truth and solidarity. Something has to happen that is deeper reaching and more comprehensive than all previous revolutions have done up till now. A world-revolution which in its essence does not fight against existing systems anymore, but connects with a higher order is already “in the air”: the revolution of love – the establishment of living conditions which support a state of being where love becomes self-sustained. Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.

For the realisation of this big idea I shall continue my pilgrimage for the humanisation of money. I have learnt and experienced that we are quite able to be the change we are longing for. I work and pilgrimage for a future without war. The monies that today finance the wars, if invested in adequate peace projects, would be sufficient to keep all of humankind from hunger, poverty and violence. The idea of a world-wide peace movement with the “Plan of the Peace Villages” at its centre needs the contact of a larger public. Contacts are needed with industrial experts and specialists in economy, professionals who for a long time have been aware of the necessity for such a comprehensive change of view and are prepared to support it. The peace movement needs to be aware and comprehend the functioning of money without having to bow to its traditional laws. The movement has to overcome old concepts of enmity and support the development of a humane economy. With the cost of one single armoured tank we could powerfully launch the planned peace villages in the Middle East, in Colombia, India and Portugal.

Imagine: Each person acts wherever he lives aware of “I am the change I want to see in the world”. Imagine: A world-wide net of mental and spiritual connectedness develops, a net of peace projects, futures communities and healing biotopes. They welcome pilgrims, who want to join the project GRACE and who wish to develop themselves. More and more people take on responsibility for the whole and joyfully accept the necessary work in all its manifold aspects. The necessary funding is provided by wealthy individuals or groups of individuals. More and more people know and fulfil their professions and tasks in this world-wide net of a powerfully growing peace force. The participants orientate themselves, also in their personal daily life, on guidelines provided by this world-wide peace movement. All these guidelines originate from the profound understanding of GRACE.

Due to the many existential shocks on the pilgrimage throughout Israel the subject of money moved into the background. A second phase of my pilgrimage will follow and focus on making contacts with people in the financial world. My total trust in reaching the goal of my pilgrimage has grown a lot. I express my thanks for the many new friendships and for the new partners in cooperation. I have got to know many engaged peace-workers who dedicate their lives to peace work. The net of cooperation is growing.

We need a world-wide group of committed human beings who will use their economic, political and journalistic abilities to promote the idea of the peace villages – a global “Syndicate for Peace”. It has to be a group who in every situation is very decided and ready to forego personal interests in favour of the common interest. I am travelling to contribute in the development of such a world group.

The international “Syndicate for Peace” shall be responsible for the news to be spread throughout the world and for the setting up of primary training centres where the development of peace villages can be studied. These training centres will be available and serve as hostels and meetings points to the world-wide peace movement and serve as oases of regeneration and cooperation. It is envisaged that the world group could consist of approximately 30 members.

My contribution focuses on the preparation and linking-up of adequate technological, ecological and social pilot models which presently are or have already been developed by various groups all over the world. At the same time I am glad to pass on to others my spiritual knowledge, my experience in community life and gender work.

I ask all engaged spirits for help and support. Please open up contacts to industrial and financial experts who are interested in new future projects. Those who run or know of projects which are prepared to make their centre available as a hostel to peace workers, please contact me.

I ask all engaged spirits for help and support. Please open up contacts to industrial and financial experts who are interested in new future projects. I greet all friends and peace workers on this wonderful planet Earth and wish for us all to become witnesses of a life without war.
